2023 Santa Lucia Fior de Ribes Castel del Monte Bombino Nero DOCG

DOCG Rosé from Puglia, Italy, exhibits a pale hue and aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and subtle herbal notes. It presents a delicate and dry palate, making it suitable for warm weather consumption. Santa Lucia, an organic certified producer, is situated in Corato, approximately 250 meters above sea level, north of Bari in the Murge region.

Winemaking involves gentle pressing, followed by a maximum thirty-minute maceration of destemmed grapes, cold decantation, fermentation, and a five-month refinement in stainless steel, with bottling occurring as a single batch at winter’s end.

Recommended food pairings include asparagus and cured meats.
